Solution for a Transport Company
Software Interactive has developed bespoke comprehensive system to optimise various aspects of the work of a transport company.
Separate algorithms were created to handle different areas of work, including truck scheduling, planning of the work time of truck crews, minimising violations committed by truck crews. The elements that were taken into account included law provisions, labor law regulations, crew work schedule, loading and unloading of goods – also on ferries.
Our team used various suboptimal heuristic algorithms supported by dynamic programming and graph theory solutions. All solutions are at least at the level of those from the main competitor NDA, and the cost of development was estimated to be a fraction of the off-the-shelf solution.
